Why attend
Three days at the heart of African coffee.
Since the year 2000
Africa’s flagship coffee gathering.
Founded in July 2000, the African Fine Coffees Association is a member-based, non-profit body representing producers, traders, governments and support organisations across the continent. For over twenty years AFCA has hosted the AFCC&E in its member countries. It is the only event of its kind in the region.
The annual AFCA conference in February has been a highlight every year since it began, with the specialty industry coming together to exchange ideas, celebrate excellence and build relationships.
The real value of the conference is the corridor conversations, the new relationships, and the chance to engage directly with producers, exporters and value-chain actors who are often absent from other industry events.
For over two decades it has brought all African coffee stakeholders together, from farmers to roasters, to exchange ideas, learn and support each other. This conference is the place to be every February.
For 17 consecutive years I have had the honour of speaking at AFCA. The relationships fostered and the learning from attending year after year have been unsurpassed.
